The American SuperJeep Challenge will part of the Off-Road Expo in Pomona.

The American SuperJeep Challenge will be a part of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo powered by General Tire at the Fairplex in Pomona, Calif., Sept. 28-29. A total of 10 events comprise the inaugural season of the American SuperJeep Challenge.

The American SuperJeep Challenge competition at the Off-Road Expo will be taped for broadcast and production on the MotorTrend Network.

The Off-Road Expo will each serve as a qualify round for the SuperJeep Invitational Championship held in January in West Palm Beach, Fla., during Super Car Week. Each qualifying winner will be invited to attend and compete in the SuperJeep Invitational Championship. Just one builder will ultimately be named America’s SuperJeep Builder of The Year. Builders placing in the top-three will have the opportunity to be featured at the show.

The American SuperJeep Challenge invites top custom modified Jeep vehicle builders from coast-to-coast to compete for the title of SuperJeep Champion Builder of the Year. All entrants must pass a pre-set set of modification requirements to qualify.

Judging for the SuperJeep Challenge is handled by an elite panel of diversified industry leaders. Builders will be judged on the following criteria: Craftsmanship, Compatibility of Modifications, Builders Add-on Styling and Additional Modifications, Fit and Finish, Overall Reliability and Functionality-On/Off Road, Presentation and Creativity, along with additional Modifications Required by Rules.
