Ford Announces Transit Trail For Overlanding

Ford recently announced the Transit Trail which will be designed for overlanding living from the factory.
Ford Pro will introduce the new 2023 Transit Trail van, equipped with its new adventure-seeking capability from the factory.

Custom vans have taken off with the growth of overlanding and the tiny house world. Taking a van and converting it to a motorhome or outfitted for weekend overlanding adventures is more common nowadays than seeing them used for deliveries.

Ford Pro CEO Ted Cannis announced on Twitter that the Ford Transit is expanding its lineup for the 2023 model year. Next month, Ford Pro will introduce the new 2023 Transit Trail van, equipped with its new adventure-seeking capability alongside interior and exterior enhancements providing do-it-yourselfers and motorhome distributors a turnkey canvas direct from the factory.

The 2023 Ford Transit Trail gives owners the ability to customize the van into the perfect setup for their needs.

Ford has done a great job in recent years listening to the market and what consumers want in their vehicles. The Raptor is just one example of how Ford has taken the needs and wants of the consumer in the off-road world and brought them to life.

The 2023 Transit Trail van can be the perfect platform to build the ultimate overlanding vehicle. The ability to have a platform designed from the factory for overlanding or a motorhome is gamechanging.

Transit Trail will be assembled in Missouri, home of the Kansas City Assembly Plant, alongside Transit and E-Transit vans. For more information on the Ford Transit be sure to visit the Ford Upfit website.
