Being out on the trail and keeping drinks or food cold for long durations of time, especially if there are no convenience stores along the way to restock on ice. To help solve the need for off-roaders and overlanders, Smittybilt recently released the all-new, battery-powered Waypoint 55-liter dual zone fridge freezer.
Smittybilt set out to make the most technically advanced and customizable fridge system on the market with smartphone controls via Bluetooth connectivity, removable wheels, extendable handles, and dual-zone freezing and cooling capabilities. The Waypoint fridge freezer comes with a solar panel ready out of the box with a battery life of up to six hours, with spare batteries available for purchase separately.
The Waypoint is 28 inches long by 22.5 inches tall and 18.1 inches wide and can store up to 88 cans. It also has charging capabilities via 12-volt accessory or standard 100-watt solar panel along with an easy-to use LED touch-screen.
