Toyo Tires proudly announced that off-road racing stars CJ Greaves and Johnny Greaves have joined Team Toyo. CJ Greaves, the six-time Pro-4 Champion, and his father Johnny Greaves, a legendary driver with over 100 Pro-4 wins, will compete on championship-winning Toyo Open Country tires across various off-road racing disciplines.
CJ Greaves, who clinched his seventh Pro-4 Championship at the 2022 Labor Day weekend races at Crandon, has also achieved numerous other accomplishments in his career. In 2021, CJ swept the Pro4 season opener in Antigo and went on to win seven more podiums, including another sweep in Bark River, MI. In the same year, he switched to Polaris RZR side-by-side and competed in the Pro Stock SXS and Pro Turbo classes, finishing second in the points standings in the Pro Stock SXS class. CJ finished off the 2022 season in epic style by taking the Crandon World Championships in the Pro-4 and Pro Stock SXS classes, as well as the Crandon World Cup race, becoming the first racer to win four cups and breaking the previously held record.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Team Toyo and embarking on this exciting new chapter in my racing career,” said CJ Greaves. “The level of excellence and success that Toyo Tires brings to off-road racing is unparalleled.”
Johnny Greaves, who manages CJ’s racing program while racing himself, had a successful 2022 season by finishing third in the points standings. As a legendary driver with over 100 Pro-4 wins, Johnny brings unique experience and expertise to Team Toyo.
“Joining Team Toyo with CJ is an honor for me. Toyo Tires has a long-standing reputation for providing high-performance tires that dominate in off-road racing,” said Johnny Greaves. “Being part of this prestigious team means having the support of a company that shares my passion for the sport.”
