Application Tuned Rancho RS7MT Struts And Shocks

Rancho has designed their new line of RS7MT struts and monotube shocks for specific applications increasing their overall performance.

A product works better when it is designed for a specific application. Rancho has applied that motto to their new line of RS7MT struts and monotube shocks.

The RS7MT series uses Deflective Disc Valving featuring digressive, linear, or progressive turning based on application requirements for precision handling and performance on and off-road. These products are both strong and durable, made with a 14mm hardened chrome piston rod to resist scuffs and corrosion, double-welded loops at stress areas, a double-strength closure method, and a hot form reserve tube.

A large two-inch monotube body filled with all-weather fluid allows for cooler operation, increased vehicle control, and the ability to withstand internal temperatures of -40 to 248 degrees Fahrenheit. Having a full-floating dividing piston and high-pressure nitrogen gas maintains constant pressure against the hydraulic oil, reducing aeration and shock fade.

Internal rebound bumper and shouldered rubber bushings help reduce noise, vibration, and ride harshness, while the PTFE-banded piston enhances responsiveness to changing road conditions for a smoother ride. Rancho’s sealing system features an integrated dirt wiper that helps keep moisture, dirt, and debris from being ingested into the shock, contaminating the oil and destroying the internal seal.

The RS7MT series struts and shocks are designed to fit right out of the box, and application-specific mounting installs easily with no need for installing sleeves or extra hardware.
